We take dahlia sanitation seriously to promote healthy plants. Tools are sanitized with a bleach solution between each plant when digging, dividing, and cutting, and any plants showing questionable signs are immediately culled to prevent spread. While it’s not possible to guarantee virus-free stock, we take every precaution to limit and prevent the presence of virus wherever possible. Throughout the season, we carefully monitor plant health, and our farm receives an annual inspection from the Washington State Department of Agriculture, which we consistently pass with flying colors.
